The online admission process is being conducted through the Directorate of Medical Education’s portal — www.cgdme.in. The extension was granted to accommodate applicants who could not complete their registration by the earlier deadline of October 14.
Eligibility and Fee Structure
According to DME guidelines:
- General and OBC candidates must pay an application fee of ₹1,000, while
- SC/ST candidates must pay ₹500.
A correction window will be available for candidates, with a ₹1,000 correction fee applicable. However, no changes will be permitted to previously entered email ID or mobile number, ensuring the integrity of candidate data.
Counselling and Admission Procedure
The admission process will be managed through an online counselling system where candidates can select institutions and lock choices. All relevant updates, such as seat allotment and verification schedules, will be published on the DME website.
Once a seat is allotted in the first round, candidates must verify their documents and take admission in the assigned Government Nursing College; otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled.
